Preparation Tips for Bank Clerical Exams

How to Prepare for Bank Clerical Exams (My Suggestion)

General Awareness:
Don't Panic for this section. It is simply the General Awareness and not the General Knowledge. If You are having a habbit of reading Newspaper on a regular basis, you will find it Easy.Problem Starts if a candidate has not studied the NEws paper or not watched the major news items in the past Six months. Then Please arrange the past 6-7 months copies of any staandard GK and try to recall which news items were on a hit.Study what was big News.Dats it..
Apart from that a bit of banking and finacial industry related terms are now a part of the examination for which follow a standard literature.....

Quantitative Aptitude:
This section includes around 20-25 days to comple te the basics and then practise, practise and practise more model papers.
start with number systems, decimals, squares, simplifications, average, percentages, ration and proportion profit and loss, partnership, problems on age and Trains.Preparing these concepts is more than sufficient to Qualify the Clerical Exam if a candidate really puts his efforts..
(Pay a special attention on the ratio, average and percentage topics).

Reasoning Ability:
Allocate 20-25 days for this section.
There is no set pattern of reasoning. If A candidate prepares starting from the circular arrangements, coding and decoding ,direction test, alphabetic arrangements, then it becomes bit easier for the candidate to find the Question paper easier on the other.
Practise atleast 3 model papers per day..You will find the improvment..

According to me,Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning sections practise should become a part of your habit until u get placed in Bank Job..Practise as more as u can..These are the two scoring parts which keeps you in safe zone ...

Computer Knowledge:
This sectiion does take more than two days for preparation .
If one is not from the COmputer Background, then one needs to study of Basic history of Computer,MS Office with Short cut key and Commands,Internet History and so on.
This is the important section a non-computer background student should take up seriously..

English Language:
This is the portion which is almost critical .
If English has not been your cup of Tea,then there is no option except to start from the very basic grammar level. But incase a candidate is a bit Ok with English ,then things get easier.Focus on Cloze test,Error spotting, and Jumbling sentences.

If a candidate has always had a problem with the English Section, then it cant be certified with in a day or two but yes, with a constant practise strting from the very first chapter which provides a deep insight on the use of has/had or hadbeen, should have been, would have been, could havebeen, etc. One can expect to score atleast the cut off marks(which are normally 20%-25% only) in this section.

WISH YOU ALL THE BEST
I hope it clarifies atleast some of the doubts of the aspirants of bank clrical Examination. If you have any Questions and Doubts regarding your preparation ,dont hesitate to ask me..I am Always ready to answer you with Pleasure..
ThanQ..!!
